Welcome to By the Sea — your spacious, newly renovated 4-bedroom, 3-bath coastal retreat nestled on the magnificent white-sand shoreline of the Forgotten Coast. Here, you’ll discover a humble slice of paradise often referred to as “Mayberry on the water.”

This beautiful beachfront home offers two levels of comfortable, open living with breathtaking views of the glistening emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico.

Main Level
The main floor features an open layout with a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, and living room—perfect for gathering with family and friends. A cozy gas-log fireplace warms cool coastal evenings, while French doors lead to a spacious balcony complete with an outdoor dining table for unforgettable sunset dinners. This level also includes a full bathroom and a bedroom for added convenience.

Upper Level
Upstairs, the master suite features a king-size bed, private bath, and French doors that open onto a large balcony overlooking the sandy beach and emerald waters below. Two additional bedrooms—one with a king bed and the other with a queen—share a second full bathroom on this floor.

Outdoor Living
Relax on the tranquil shoreline in the downstairs social area, where you’ll find a hanging swing, captain’s chairs, and a gas grill—everything you need for laid-back coastal lounging. Whether you're enjoying magnificent sunsets or sipping morning coffee with the sound of waves, this space is designed for pure enjoyment.

Property is Ocean-front and rents SUN - SUN Memorial Day - Labor Day (4 night minimum during off season).

By the Sea is a non-smoking home and does not allow pets.

"This was our second year at By The Sea and again we very much enjoyed our week on the beach! The house is well appointed with a large kitchen and family room as well as four bedrooms and three baths. We like it as all the bedrooms have king or queen beds (no bunk rooms). Right on the beach. We enjoy eating dinner on the porch as we look out over the beach and ocean. Both rentals, the owners have been next door - and they are very nice and accommodating. Clean and well maintained. We'll be back!

"By The Sea was great. It’s right on the beach with amazing views. By the Sea was very clean and very well taken care of. Great parking. And amazing management staff. Thank you Teresa and Jolynne and the owners for all your help getting us accommodated after our first house with VRBO was a flop. By The Sea and Forgotten Coast Rentals was a total upgrade. We were in a different rental from VRBO on the cape in cape San Blas with lot of code issues and smoke alarms going off at 2am on and off then they stayed on so we had to call fire dept. The VRBO had issues with plugs sparking when we tried to plug in items. Just all around night mare and nasty dirty. We could not be more thankful to the owners and management company of By The Sea for taking us in last min to rescue our vacation. We will forever be grateful. Thank you Thank you Thank you for saving our vacation.

"Very well taken care of, owners were next door for a couple days extremely nice people. made sure we had everything we needed. House is well furnished AC worked extremely well right on the Beach so you can just walk out the door and onto the beach.

"Our family has been coming to MB for 25 years or so and this was one of the best rentals we've had ... and we've had some good ones. House was beautiful with plenty of room for 7-8 adults. We appreciated the fact there was no "bunk room" as our kids are now all grown. We enjoyed eating out on the deck watching the beach and sun. Plenty of room to store food and drinks (pantry) with large kitchen and living area. Right on the beach! (The only issue was we needed the combination to get to the gas grill, but the owners were staying next door - so no problem). We'll be back next time!

"This was our first time to visit Mexico Beach, and we fell in love. The home was beautifully decorated and comfortable. The minute we walked in, we could tell the room was clean. Forgotten Coast Property Management was friendly and fabulous to deal with whenever we called. The beach view was incredible. Will definitely return to Mexico Beach and By the Sea!

"We were very impressed with By The Sea rental house. Right on the beach, gorgeous views, super clean. Everything was as described. The only thing I would change would be to heighten the porch swing so that it doesn't sit so low to the ground. I still give it 5 stars!
